BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield California Highway Patrol announced a new commander last week, and 23ABC caught up with the new leader to see what he's looking forward to in his new role.
Captain Levi Miller is a 21-year member of the Department. He joined the CHP in 1999 and was assigned to the East Los Angeles Area. He later transferred to the Morongo Basin Area and promoted to Sergeant in the Arrowhead Area of the CHP. Most recently, Miller served as the Administrative Lieutenant within the CHP’s Inland Division.
Miller said Bakersfield is one of the busiest commands and he is excited about the opportunity. He is looking forward to meeting his team and serving the community.
