BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Craft beer fans, here's your chance to meet your favorite local brewers while helping to raise money for a local foundation.
The Meet the Brewers event will be Saturday evening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lengthwise Brewery on District Blvd. Tickets are $25 at the door which allow you to sample some of the local craft beer as well as eat some food. Proceeds from the event will help the 20/30 Club's Foundation geared towards helping Kern County Children.
Five Kern County breweries are expected to bring their beer: Crusader, Dionysus, Great Change, Lengthwise and Temblor. You will get a chance to talk with owners, managers and brewers of these brewers and they can explain to you how to better enjoy their beer.
This is the third Annual Meet the Brewers event. The previous years have helped fund back-to-school and Christmas shopping for local Kern County children.
