On Sunday, a memorial ride, poker run and fundraiser will be held to celebrate the life of ben the giant slayer.

Ben Proctor Martinez was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma in 2013.
Rhabdomyosarcoma is a disease that causes cancer cells to form in muscle cells; Ben was diagnosed with the more aggressive form.
The motorcycle memorial ride will begin at 11 a.m.
Registration begins at 8 a-m at Bakersfield on 2622 Fairhaven Drive.
It ends at Ethel’s Old Corral.
The event includes lunch and a poker run.
Tickets are $20 for a rider, $10 for a passenger and $5 per poker hand.
