Merle Haggard's sons are planning to perform his songs in Bakersfield in October.
Ben and Noel Haggard are scheduled to perform The Hag's hits in Bakersfield for the first time since his death on April 6 on his 79th birthday.
Both musicians will join Haggard's longtime band The Strangers at the event at the Fox Theater in downtown Bakersfield. Marty Stuart is also expected to perform.
There's no word yet on when tickets will be available for the event.
