Mexico beats South Korea 2-1 in 2018 World Cup

Mexico pulled off another win Saturday, beating South Korea 2-1 in its second match of the 2018 World Cup.

Mexico's Carlos Vela and Javier Hernandez each scored a goal. 

These two countries have met one time at the World Cup before, with Mexico winning 3-1 in 1998. 

Mexico is in first place in the group stage.

The team will now advance to the knockout stage where they will face off against Sweden.

Mexico’s third game in the World Cup is set for Wednesday, June 27th at 7 a.m. PT.
