BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Mi Rancho Market has been closed by the health department after a failed health inspection revealed rodent droppings throughout the storage warehouse in the back of the facility.

According to Kern Public Health, they observed hoods soiled with debris, unsanitary equipment as well as employee medication stored below the register.

Mi Rancho opened up in McFarland in 2018, on May 12.

Mi Rancho earned a 69 percent on their inspection.
