A local middle school teacher was reunited Wednesday with the paramedic who saved her life after a sudden cardiac arrest in August.
On August 25, Paramedic Ryan Strange and EMT Samantha Parks responded to a patient with anxiety type symptoms at a local junior high school.
The paramedic encouraged her to go to the ER. On the way, she became unconscious and suffered from a seizure.
Strange provided advanced life support and treatment. She regained an organized rhythm with a good pulse as they arrived at the ER.
