BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A Japanese cuisine restaurant in Northwest Bakersfield has been shut down by the Kern County Public Health Department after not passing an inspection.
According to Public Health's SafeDiner website, MiMotto, located at Calloway Dr. and Hageman Rd. scored a 71% on an inspection Wednesday.
Inspectors cited build up on the exhaust hood, a trash can touching the fryer, food debris on the floor and on the cook line as reasons for a lower score.
Inspectors also found that the only sink in the building was blocked by a table and didn't have a working soap dispenser.
MiMotto must pass an inspection before it can reopen.
