BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Mira Monte High School is releasing students early due to a power outage.
Due to a power outage, Mira Monte High School is releasing students starting at 10:30 am. Sack lunches are available in the cafeteria, normal bus routes will run beginning at 10:30 am. School will resume as scheduled on Wednesday. @MiraMonteKHSD

According to the KHSD Twitter page, students from Mira Monte High School will be released at 10:30 a.m. KHSD says sack lunches are available in the cafeteria, and normal bus routes will run beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Initially, 460 customers were affected by the outage. According to PG&E, the outage started around 8:20 a.m. and was caused by an equipment issue. According to the PG&E outage page, they do not have an estimated time as to when power will be restored.
At this time, 120 customers are still being affected by the outage.
