Farm workers around Kern County will soon have mobile testing sites set up to help them test for COVID-19.

On Monday morning, Kern County Supervisor David Couch announced a partnership with the California Farmworkers Foundation and the Good Samaritan Hospital to provide mobile testing for farm workers around Kern County.

The first testing site will be setup in Delano on Tuesday. Tests will begin at 9 a.m. Testing will then take place in Lamont on Wednesday and McFarland on Thursday.

Kern County Public Health, the California Farmworkers Foundation and Good Samaritan Hospital will then decide when and where the mobile testing site will be setup in the following weeks.
