The Mojave Unified School District is doing its best to connect families by offering free internet access throughout the communities of Mojave and California City beginning Monday.

School buses with internet hotspots will be parked in different places throughout the town for one hour per location between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Permanent hotspots will be available at California City High School and Mojave Junior and Senior high schools.

Residents will be able to park near the school and connect devices to the internet.

The hotspots will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
