BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Monsignor Perry Kavookjian was shocked to hear the news of sexual misconduct allegation surrounding his friend Monsignor Craig Harrison.

Kavookkjian is the pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Both he and Monsignor Harrison attended seminary together. He says he understands the catholic churches failed history in dealing with sexual abuse. He says even though he believes Monsignor Harrison is innocent people need to share their truth regarding sexual misconduct.

He says in the end the he trusts the truth will come out.
