BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Cops and Firefighters went face-to-face on the ice in the battle for supremacy.
Ultimately, local charities ended up victorious.
The Guns and Hoses Charity Hockey Game took place over the weekend at the Rabobank Arena.
In all, more than $23,000 was raised. Proceeds benefit the Bakersfield Homeless Shelter and the Kern County Law Enforcement Foundation.
