BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Update: As of 9:38 p.m., the customers affected has dropped to 375. The estimated restoration for the outage is set for 10:15 p.m.

Over 3,800 people are without power tonight in South Bakersfield.

According to the California Highway Patrol page, there is a collision with a semi and a powerpole at Colony Street and Panama Lane, however that is unconfirmed.
