The School Choir Sharing Festival is happening today, Thursday October 12, 2017 between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. at Sierra Middle School's Auditorium. More than 500 students are expected to participate in today's annual Choir Sharing Festival.
This is the 10th annual middle school/junior high school choir, which is hosted by the Bakersfield City School District.
530 students throughout the district will be brought together at this event where they will have the opportunity to learn and perform under the instruction of a choral clinician and a guest conductor.
This year's guest will be Dr. Jennifer Garrett who is the Director of Choral Activities at Bakersfield College and has more than 15 years of experience to share with the students.
