UPDATE: Family and friends have identified the victim as Samantha Suzanne, a mother of two.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash near Highway 58 and Nord Avenue.
The four-vehicle collision happened around 8:20 p.m. Saturday.
Officials have not released detail on what may have caused the crash.
Officials said six people were involved, one person was listed in critical condition and died a short time later.
Three other people complained of pain, but were not seriously injured.
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
