A woman stabbed by her adult son in Northwest Bakersfield Wednesday was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police were called to the 4300 block of Fruitvale Avenue where a female in her 50’s was suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was driving with her son as passenger when the son stabbed her for unknown reasons, causing her to crash into a parked car, according to BPD.
The suspect, 41-year-old Otilio Pesina, chased and assaulted the victim after she got out of the car to run. A citizen detained the suspect until officers took him into custody.
