A mother is asking for the community’s help to find her daughter’s missing memorial that was recently taken from where she died more than two years ago.

Sylvia Serrano lost her 17-year old pregnant daughter Bree Mendoza in a car accident on East Panama Lane and Cottonwood Road.

Serrano built a small house as a memorial to honor her daughter and placed it at the crash site. This weekend she went to visit the memorial and add decorations but the memorial was nowhere to be found.

It is unclear if road maintenance crews or the property owners of the field removed the memorial, but Serrano is hoping that someone will return it, no questions asked.
