BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The community will have a chance to take a stand against drunk driving and go for a walk to raise money this Saturday.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving or MADD will host its annual "Walk Like MADD" and "MADD Dash".
According to the Kern County District Attoryne's Office, since 2009 the county has had at least 4,000 DUI arrests.
All funds raised from the event will help victims of DUI crashes and help raise awareness.
The event is $25 and is scheduled for Saturday. September 28 at the Park at River Walk from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m.
