Motorcyclist killed in Tehachapi after colliding with semi-truck

A motorcyclist was killed in Tehachapi after he collided with a semi-truck Wednesday night.

According to the Tehachapi Police Department, officers responded to a call of a traffic collision at East Tehachapi Boulevard and Noria Drive. When officers arrived they found a motorcycle had collided with semi-truck.

"The investigation indicates the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on East Tehachapi Boulevard and collided with a semi-truck, the driver of which was attempting a U-turn in his truck on East Tehachapi Boulevard."

The motorcyclist was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster where he was pronounced dead.

The driver of the truck remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
