CHP is investigating a car accident on Weedpatch Highway near Rosewood Avenue.

The accident happened just before midnight on Friday.

One motorcyclist is in the hospital with major injuries. The motorcyclist was transported to Kern Medical with a broken left leg.

It is unknown what caused the accident and or if other injuries were reported.
