Boxing legend Muhammad Ali was laid to rest this morning in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

Thousands gathered from around the country to remember the icon as his funeral procession traveled 19 miles to his final burial place.

A memorial service for 30,000 began at noon. The service will include eulogies delivered by former President Bill Clinton and Billy Crystal. Actor Will Smith will be one of the pallbearers.
