CHP officials received reports at about 1:36 p.m. Saturday of an multiple vehicle crash on Southbound I-5 just south of SR46 in Buttonwillow.

According to the CHP Traffic website, injuries are unknown and they’re reporting that about 4-5 vehicles were involved in the crash.

CHP officials are also reporting some vehicle parts were in the traffic lanes.

The accident was cleared after 3:00 p.m.
