UPDATE (October 18, 2017 7:00 a.m.): The first incident on the Grapevine on Wednesday morning has now led to the closure of all northbound lanes of the I-5 near Smokey Bear Road.
A big rig overturned this morning just before 2 a.m.

Two incidents on the Grapevine are slowing traffic on both the southbound and northbound sides of Interstate 5 on Wednesday morning.
A big rig fire was reported just before 4 a.m. on the I-5 South near Fort Tejon Road. According to the California Highway Patrol and SigAlert, three lanes of the southbound I-5 have been shut down. The big rig driver spoke to 23ABC and said he was hauling 41,000 pounds of cardboard.
Earlier Wednesday morning, a big rig rolled over on the northbound side of the I-5 near Highway 138, just before 2 a.m. Two lanes of I-5 North are blocked.
