The California Highway Patrol is investigating a possible DUI related accident on Highway 184 near Panama Lane Sunday night involving 3 children who were not wearing any seat belts.

CHP received reports of a multiple-vehicle crash at around 5:57 pm.

CHP officials say a woman, who was possibly driving under the influence was in a pick-up truck when she rear-ended another vehicle waiting at a red light.

They say the woman had three children in the vehicle - and no one was wearing their seatbelt.

One of the children flew from the back seat of the truck towards the front of the truck with enough force that it bent the front seat out of position.

CHP says it's always important to buckle up. 

Officials say one of the children may have suffered minor injuries but that's still under investigation.

The other vehicle's driver didn't suffer injuries.

No word if the woman is facing any charges.
