Bakersfield Police officials reported a multiple vehicle crash that occurred on Truxtun Ave and Empire Dr. at around 10:26 am, Friday morning.
23ABC received eyewitness reports that indicate a Bakersfield police cruiser may have been involved in the crash. There are reports that two other cars were part of the crash.

BPD officials say that no one was injured.
Officials added that a patrol vehicle stopped to assist a disabled vehicle with hazard lights on when it was hit from behind.
A BPD official says distracted driving is suspected.
Traffic around Truxtun Ave. and Empire Dr was backed up for a time but the scene was clear before noontime.
