National Weather Service issues Flash Flood Warning for parts of Kern County

(UPDATE: March 6, 2019 8:36 a.m.) The National Weather Service's Hanford Office has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Lake Isabella, Bodfish, and Mountain Mesa until 11 a.m.

UPDATE (5:48 a.m.): The National Weather Service's Hanford office has extended Wednesday morning's Flash Flood Warning.

The Flash Flood Warning has been extended to 7:45 a.m.

A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for parts of Kern County on Wednesday morning.

According to the National Weather Service's Hanford office, a Flash Flood Warning is in effect in the eastern part of Kern County, including the areas of Ridgecrest, Inyokern and Searles.

The Flash Flood Warning is in effect until 5:45 a.m.
