A wind advisory has been issued for parts of Kern County beginning Monday night and going through Tuesday morning.
On Monday, the National Weather Service's Hanford office said the wind advisory would be in effect for parts of Kern County's mountain and desert areas. The advisory begins at 8 p.m. Monday and goes until 5 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, "Highways affected include, but are not limited to Highway 14, U.S. Highway 395, Highway 58 below Tehachapi Pass, and Highway 178 below Walker Pass."
