UPDATE (2:54 p.m.): Multiple roads in Tehachapi are currently closed due to mud and rocks in the road.
Oak Creek Road from Koch Street to Tehachapi Willow Springs Road; Cameron Road from Tehachapi Willow Springs Road to Highway 58; and Tehachapi Willow Springs Road from Backus Road to Highline Road are currently closed.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for parts of Kern County.
On Thursday afternoon, NWS Hanford issued the warning, saying Tehachapi and Monolith could be impacted by the warning.
NWS Hanford said thunderstorms have developed across parts of Kern County mountains and deserts. NWS also says heavy rain and small hail are possible.
