James scored the historic layup in the third quarter against the Philidelphia 76ers Saturday night to solidify himself behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone for the third most points scored in the NBA.

The Lakers are on the road in Philidelphia, where James entered the game needing 18 points to pass Bryant's mark of 33,643 points.
