NCMEC: Missing 16-year-old may attempt to travel through Bakersfield, Delano

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 16-year-old they say may be traveling through Bakersfield and Delano.

The center says 16-year-old Makyla Brown was last seen at her home in San Leandro, California, on March 23rd.

NCMEC says Brown may attempt to travel to various locations throughout California, specifically; Sacramento, Bakersfield, Oakland, Delano and Richmond.

Anyone with information about Brown is asked to contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE-LOST) or the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department (California) at 1-916-874-5111.
