Nearly 1,000 residents in Southeast Bakersfield are without power Friday morning.

According to PG&E, the outage happened just before 8 a.m.

It's impacting residents from Belle Terrace to Watts Drive between Union Avenue and Cottonwood Road.

It's not known what caused the outage or when power will be restored.
