BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Local active duty military members will receive recognition through new banners at the Amtrak Bakersfield Station.
Kern River Blue Star Moms will be revealing the new banners, which feature hometown heroes. The banners will be hung from 21 light posts at the Amtrak station in Central Bakersfield.
A ceremony to reveal the banners will be held today, May 18, at noon at the Amtrak station, located at 601 Truxtun Avenue.
