BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — U.S. Air Force Airman Kevin O'Cobain graduated from basic training at the Joint Base, San Antonio-Lackland in Texas.

O'Cobain completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies. Those who complete basic training also earn credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

O'Cobain is the son of Joe and Raquel O'Cobain, and brother of Daisy O'Cobain and Bryan O'Cobain.

O'Cobain is also a 2018 graduate of Alpaugh Unified High School.
