BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Board of Directors for Flood Bakersfield Ministries has announced the appointment of Jim Wheeler as the new Executive Director for the organization.
" I am very pleased that Jim will be joining Flood Bakersfield," Karen Tjepkema, President of Flood Board of Directors said. "Jim's wealth of experience with homelessness and in our community will help us continue our vision of ending chronic homelessness in Kern County. " I respect the mission of Flood and believe that providing services designed to meet the physical, relational and spiritual needs for those who are deeply impoverished in our community is a noble cause.
