BAKERSFIELD, CA. — The Buena Vista Museum is unveiling a new augmented reality sandbox exhibit on Saturday.

Visitors of the museum will be able to play with 16 different game on the interactive sandbox. The sandbox allows users to build mountains, dig lakes, and make rainbows. The sandbox allows users to interactively build, create and play. It also includes sounds to match the game or activity that is being played.

"The sandbox has 16 different games," says Buena Vista's Museum Director. "It's an interactive way to educate students about geography."

The sandbox was funded by donations from Bakersfield residents. It took about a year to fully fund the new museum exhibit.

If you're interested in checking out the new exhibit, it will be open to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Buena Vista Museum. For Saturday only, museum visitors will be able to get a free ticket for kids 18 and under with the purchase of an $8 adult ticket.
