A new skate park is set to open in Oildale.

The skate park will be located on the northeast corner of North Beardsley Park. This is the first skate park for the North of the River Recreation and Park District. 

The North Beardsley Skate Park will open on September 22. A ribbon cutting and grand opening ceremony will be held at 9 a.m.
