A new Smart & Final Extra! Store will have its grand opening in east Bakersfield on Wednesday.

The new store located at 2644 Mt. Vernon Avenue is approximately 30,000 square feet and will have an expanded frozen, deli and meat sections, as well as a full fresh produce section and a wide selection of private label offerings.

The new store will also have unique products such as oven-roasted chicken, fresh cut fruit, florals and self-serve dry bulk goods by the pound.

The opening day hours are from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8. 

The new store in east Bakersfield will be the sixth Smart & Final Store in Bakersfield.
