Newly sworn Bakersfield Police officers are wasting no time serving their community!

The officers are out serving meals to the homeless at the Mission of Kern County in downtown Bakersfield. They began preparing meals at 9:30 a.m. and will serve the meals at 11 a.m.

These newly sworn officers are from BPD's recent police academy.
