New Advances for People with Disabilities (NAPD) held a grand opening of their new 17,000 square foot Center for Creative Achievement Tuesday.
The Center for Creative Achievement is a day program providing a creative learning environment for more than 180 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The new facility will allow for expansion of creative and performing arts activities.
NAPD is a nonprofit that serves over 500 children and adults in Kern County with intellectual and developmental disabilities every day.
