If you're heading north out of Kern County, northbound Highway 99 remains shut down Thursday morning after a crash overnight, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All three lanes of northbound 99 remains shut down just south of Selma following a big rig collision overnight. According to Caltrans, traffic is being detoured at Mountain View Avenue.
