UPDATE (9:13 P.M. 6/13):  Kern County Fire officials say the fire is out, but the truck that was on fire was containing a product that could possibly be hazardous, so until HazMat finishes cleaning up, the roadway will remain closed. Still no estimate on when the road will open. 

California Highway Patrol and Cal Trans are reporting that northbound Interstate 5 on the Grapevine is closed due to a vehicle fire.

The closure is happening  about 10.2 miles north of the Los Angeles and Kern County line. Cal Trans is urging motorists to use an alternate route.

There is no estimated time as to when the roadway will reopen.
