November 1 is the deadline for mail-in ballot application in California

Ballots must be postmarked by November 1 to count
Posted

Election Day is November 8, but mail-in ballots must be postmarked before then.

If you are voting by mail, you must apply by November 1.

Your ballot must be postmarked by November 8 and received within three business days for your vote to count. If you have your ballot postmarked November 8, but it is received after three business days, it will not count.

If you are voting by mail, the earlier the better! This will ensure that your vote will count in the upcoming election.
