BAKERSFIELD, CA.  — Over 100,000 pumpkins cycle through Murray Family Farms every October.

“We come here every year," said Jorge Reynoso. "Usually first or second week of October to pick up our pumpkins and we bring a big group and they do give one free pumpkin so it’s pretty nice."

The traditional trip to Murray Farms will include the typical pumpkin patch, but will also have paint ball and a potato canon for this first time.

“We have our October Fun Fest, which is a month long festival to celebrate fall, people pick their pumpkins, we have all sorts of extra activities, everything is decorated and we like seeing all of Bakersfield pick their pumpkins and have a great time with us," Ryan Ramirez, Murray Family Farms.

October Fun Fest will continue at Murray Family Farms through October 31st.
