All officers in an officer-involved shooting near Feliz Drive in Southeast Bakersfield on August 17 have returned to full duty.
The critical Incident Review Board determined all shots fired were within department policy and national guidelines.
The officers involved in a Southeast Bakersfield officer-involved shooting were Senior Officer Shane Shaff, Officer Brady Barber, Officer Brockett Mueller, Officer Steven Mayberry, and Officer Brianna Pace.
The suspect who was shot, Francisco Villarreal, was identified as the suspect in a shooting on the same day, where a passerby was shot after trying to intervene in a domestic violence incident.
