Officers from BPD, KCSO, and McFarland 'staked out' the rooftop of Dunkin' Donuts to raise money for the Special Olympics.

The officers were on the rooftop of Dunkin' Donuts as part of the Cop on a Rooftop event. The Bakersfield location raised $1,350, and the Tehachapi location raised $1,061.

The Cop on a Rooftop event supported the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics. The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation also presented a check to the Tehachapi Special Olympics for $4,100.
