BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Five juveniles were detained for trespassing after they were located on the roof of the Rosedale North Elementary School Sunday evening.
The Kern County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to the school when a burglary alarm was triggered shortly before 7:30 p.m.
Deputies are on scene investigating whether any damage or theft occurred, according to KCSO.
For now, the juveniles are detained on trespassing charges, according to a KCSO spokesman.
