Officials: 752 pounds of illegal fireworks seized in Tulare County

TULARE, Calif. — Thanks to an anonymous tip, officials were able to arrest two suspects for possession of 752 lbs of illegal fireworks in Tulare.

According to Tulare County Fire Department, investigators received a tip that illegal fireworks were brought into the county over the last week.

On July 2, authorities say they were able to obtain a search warrant on a house in the area of 15000 Water Avenue. During the search they found 752 pounds of illegal fireworks in the house and cars on the property. The fireworks were allegedly transported to Tulare County with the intent to sell.

Officials also found one weapon during the search. Two suspects were arrested for possession, transporting and selling dangerous illegal fireworks.
