BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officials say multiple drivers were cited during a street racing operation in various parts of Bakersfield on Friday.
Several Bakersfield police units conducted the operation between 8 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday.
A Bakersfield Police Department press release showed that 14 drivers were pulled over, 11 were cited for charges including reckless driving and 1 vehicle was impounded.
The release also noted that BPD units will be conducting multiple street racing operations around town within the next several weeks.
