The general manager at Bolthouse Farms has confirmed that one person was killed in an "industrial accident". 

General manager Todd Putman said Bolthouse Farms is working with local authorities, who are investigating the death.

"We are deeply saddened to confirm that Silvio Beltran, a temporary agency employee, was involved in a fatal accident late on Wednesday night at our Bolthouse Farms plant on East Brundage Lane in Bakersfield.,"  Lauren Castillon, Public Relations Manager for Bolthouse Farms said. "We are working with authorities on the investigation. We offer our deepest sympathies to Silvio’s loved ones. There is little we can say that will ease their pain at this difficult time."

Putman said this was "a very unfortunate accident."
